After finally getting back on his bike following a broken finger during the November 2022 trials competition, Mike’s bike tried to kill him.
Following a week of winter weather, we braved the slick rocks. This ride was a complete sh**tshow (but still really fun!).
After about 30 minutes into this backyard trials session, I wasn’t sure I was going to successfully complete any lines on the rocks. So I tried something else.
This was supposed to be an easy session, but I ended up throwing my trials bike down in frustration at one point. Still beats not riding though!
We thought this was going to end up a video with nothing but an hour of fails. Our riding wasn’t great, but the commentary was hilarious!
This week’s bike trials group ride was a contrasting mix of pushing limits and complete mess.
A pack of coyotes must’ve made a kill close to where we were riding, because at one point they started yelping. But that’s not really what this is all about.
As we ride these crazy seatless bikes on rocks and walls next to the road, drivers (and runners) going by just don’t know what to think.
When you’ve got a good crew, there’s nothing like that group ride vibe! Riding with this crew is always a blast.
