Ryan Bratton is a talented rider who does trials on a mountain bike. He competes at the expert level using his MTB instead of a competition style trials bike.
My buddy Jim and I traveled to the Arrowhead Bike Farm in Fayetteville, WV to participate in their 3rd annual trials competition. This event was so much fun!
I love riding trials so much that it’s hard to stop once I start. I was able to pull off some pretty cool lines until I literally just could not ride anymore.
I had the pleasure of meeting Andrew Kemble in person at the 2024 Indoor Trials Jam. Seeing his riding, I figured there had to be a good story there.
To try something different this year, I hosted an indoor trials jam at the Peace Dale Ramp Room in RI. Highlights included a trials mini comp and a gap contest.
Despite the forecast for rain, I needed to get out on my trials bike. The slots in the pallets messed with me in multiple ways. The slippery wood didn’t help.
This late winter/early springtime has been giving us plenty of rain and clouds, but we were lucky to have a beautiful (yet windy) day to ride between rainy days.
There’s a lot to do in preparation for the 2024 Indoor Winter Trials Jam, so I’ve been busy. Last weekend I built some stuff, though there’s still more to do.
For a few weeks we had some snow on the ground keeping us from riding on the rocks. With the snow gone, the rocks are open riding again!
