Ryan characterized it best on this ride, when he said, “you can tell it’s the off-season.” Today’s riding was a sharp contrast in first tries, bigger moves (for me anyway), struggles, and epic fails (also me). Yet despite the overcast skies, sketchy riding, and a smidge of chaos, it’s always better to be on the bike than not.
There’s not a whole lot to say about this ride. You just have to watch it and see what I mean.
I love riding trials so much that it's hard to stop once I start. I was able to pull off some pretty cool lines until I literally just could not ride anymore.
To try something different this year, I hosted an indoor trials jam at the Peace Dale Ramp Room in RI. Highlights included a trials mini comp and a gap contest.
Despite the forecast for rain, I needed to get out on my trials bike. The slots in the pallets messed with me in multiple ways. The slippery wood didn't help.
