One of the this that has always drawn me to trials biking is that it’s hard. If it was easy, (a) ‘everyone’ would be doing it, and (b) there would be no sense of accomplishment. Part of what makes trials biking so enjoyable, is exactly because it’s hard. Honestly, that goes for pretty much anything in life, by the way.

I recently watched the movie A League of Their Own again. If you haven’t seen it, this is a movie starring Gina Davis and Tom Hanks about a women’s baseball league in the World War II timeframe. In this classic scene below, Tom Hank’s character says about baseball exactly what I feel about trials biking (at the 1:27 mark in tis clip).
