It took a bit longer than usual to edit the trials riding video from last week. I started by grinding my rims to get better ‘bite’ with my rear rim brakes. then went off to ride some rock with the fresh grind and delusions of great riding. Unfortunately, reality didn’t match my exuberant expectations. It was one of those days that nothing seemed to ‘click’. Even things I can usually do fairly easily were a struggle. That’s how it goes sometimes. It’s all part of the game – one more step in my progression. I’d certainly rather have a ‘bad’ day of trials riding than a day without trials biking!
