Author Peter Park is a trainer who has delivered proven results working with professional athletes and celebrities. He also owns Platinum Fitness in Summerland, California, and co-authored Foundation Training (affiliate link) with Eric Goodman. Rebound provides a 6-month program that starts with exercises to regain mobility, and progresses through a total body strength regimen. Cardiovascular exercise is included as well. The book includes tips on nutrition, an explanation with photos for every exercise, and a workout schedule. The program requires a very minimum investment in equipment such as dumbbells, kettlebells, and a foam roller (among other things). The workouts can be done in the comfort of your own home. This Is Bike Trials!’s founder (Tim) has been using this program to restore strength lost by years of… well, not remaining active enough before diving straight into bike trials.
While you should always consult with your doctor before beginning a workout routine, this book could offer you renewed ability to participate in some of the physical activities that you haven’t enjoyed in a while due to loss of mobility or strength.
